Michael and Heather's Wedding

My sweet friend since middle school announced only a couple of months before I was moving to Florida that she was getting married. I was thrilled and told her I was going to be there!! Heather is a wise woman who waited patiently for the man that God was giving her.

It didn't take any of us long to see that Michael, without a doubt was him. There was an ease that I saw in Heather when they were together then I saw with anyone else she had dated, including my brother (Don't worry it's not weird for anyone. My brothers wife was my guest at the wedding! Ha!!).

Michael brings out the best in Heather. Their compatibility is so evident. Both have such a passion to serve others and have been doing it beautifully apart for many years. Together, they are going to be world changers.

I am soooo happy for them. Over and over, when I reflect on Heather's relationship journey ending with Michael I think, "God is faithful." Michael was worth the wait.

I flew back to Buffalo for their wedding with a small carry on bag that could only fit the lens that was on my camera. I was only a guest, but in her words I was her "pseudo bridesmaid." I enjoyed being present as she got ready, hanging around with all of the real bridesmaids, and photographing when I wasn't in the way of their incredibly talented official photographer, Lauren (https://www.laurenashleyphoto.com ). I enjoyed being an unofficial bridesmaid and photographer. It was a lot less stressful!

Here are some of my favorites from that memorable day! Heather has always been one of the most beautiful women I have ever known, both inside and out. On her wedding day, it was magnified, just like God.
