"Winsomcal" Maddy

Yes, I just made up a word, but that was the best word I could come up with for this sweet, young lady. Winsome: pleasing and engaging generally because of a childlike charm. That was what I experienced with Maddy in the almost two hours we spent together taking her senior photos.

We had never met before these photos were taken. I had no idea what to expect, but also wasn't worried. I love meeting new people and taking their portraits!

Like most of my clients, I was referred to Maddy by someone. In this case, that someone was my brother and future sister-in-law. I have taken both of their pictures plenty of times over the years. They were confident Maddy would be in good hands and I took that seriously, as I do all of my photo opportunities.

Maddy was a doll. She loved posing and was totally comfortable to be in front of the camera. It probably helps that she is a dancer, too. ;)

When you spend this much time with someone, a lot of photos are taken. How can one choose??? Especially when that one is a photographer who loves people's different expressions, the environments they are in, and the connections they made with the person they photographed?

So, what you get are all the photos I loved without taking an extra 20 minutes to narrow them down. :-P
